Trump Has No Empathy For Americans.
President Trump defended his recent controversial remarks when he said he was not factoring in Americans' cost-of-living concerns during "negotiations" to end his illegal war against Iran.
“I don’t think about Americans’ financial situations. I don’t think about anybody. I think about one thing: We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon,” he said.
“That’s a perfect statement. I’d make it again,” Trump later told Fox News’ Bret Baier.
Trump's own intelligence advisors have stated that Iran isn't developing a nuclear weapon, and the former Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Hosseini Khamenei, had issued a fatwa more than 20 years ago forbidding nuclear weapons projects. Yes, Iran has a uranium enrichment program, but enriched uranium can be used for nuclear power plants, naval propulsion reactors, and medical research devices. To imply that its only purpose is to build bombs is untrue.
So is Trump out of touch with reality, or is he simply lying for his masters in Israel?
Maybe Ex-US Navy analyst Malcolm Nance said it best: “He does not think beyond himself… as long as he personally is not losing money.”
