This tweet from Iceland resident Leon Hill vividly describes what it's like to live in a nation with digital ID's. Although having a single, government-approved form of identification may seem safe and convenient, Hill makes it clear that convenience comes with a heavy price: the complete elimination of your privacy, where anyone can find out anything about your life. Your ability to rent an apartment, buy a home, have a bank account, and receive medical care all revolve around your digital ID. Any life choice you make that gets linked to your ID number can be viewed by the police without a warrant. You'll never know who is watching you, or why. Of all the challenges facing humanity today, digital ID's have to be at the top of the stack. Without them, the rest of the totalitarian control grid can't be built. Stand up and fight back...we're running out of time.

And also, how Australians who don't want a digital ID can attempt to protect themselves...at least for a short while.
In Iceland, the digital ID system is linked to each person's kennitala, or social security number. I sign into everything with my electronic ID (rafraen skilriki) via my phone. Any time I access my bank account, phone services, accounting, tax, insurance, credit score, manage my assets (car/house), power bill, medical record, when I vote, or even want to pull up a store receipt of something I've bought, it's all linked to my digital ID.
Everything in one place. Everything.
You cannot NOT have a digital ID to live in Iceland. It's impossible. You can't get power turned on, get a phone number, buy or register a car, rent or buy a house, or even buy certain items without having a kennitala or digital ID. You need one. This has its benefits (it makes life more streamlined when you're trying to do something in daily life), but it also means there is no privacy at all in Iceland. Anyone can look up where I live. The license plate of my car. How much tax I paid last year. My phone number. You name it. It's public and available - and all you need is my kennitala to find it all out.
But the government has access to more.
The Icelandic government and tax office has access to my bank accounts and knows every transaction I make, what I spend, and what I earn. They don't need a warrant, or anything else to access it - it's theirs. They just need probable cause to look at it.
Australians, this is what's coming for you. Over the coming years, the government will make it impossible to opt out of the digital ID system. You'll need one for everything. And most importantly, they'll coerce Australians into adopting it by creating laws that link it to the most important thing you need to survive in today's modern world: your bank account.
They'll do it on the grounds of anti-money laundering and financial safety. The gov't will enforce laws onto banks (among the many ID and verification laws already mandated on banks) that if you don't have the digital ID, you won't be able to open, keep, or use a bank account. If you refuse, you'll effectively be locked out of society. Because in today's modern world, you need access to banking services to survive.
Banking will be first. Then everything else in society will be linked to your digital ID.
Nothing will ever again be private. Just like in Iceland today, the government will know everything. Always. Forever.

These sixteen Republican senators have signed a letter to the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service demanding that the IRS investigate the National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP), the AJP Educational Foundation (AJP), the Tides Foundation, the Westchester Peace Action Committee Foundation (WESPAC Foundation), and others to see if they "have engaged in conduct warranting their tax-exempt status to be stripped". The senators are apparently upset about the pro-Palestine protests being held at college campuses across the nation, and they want to punish the groups said to be funding the protests. But let's face reality: punishment is not enough. These senators would like the protests to end completely, and they're not afraid to use their power inappropriately to make it happen.
This is the sad state of today's GOP. A political party that pretends to care about the Constitution and freedom has become a gang of intolerant authoritarians, especially when their super-donors representing Israel are involved. It isn't enough that they've tried to pass harsh "antisemitism" laws attacking free speech to stop criticism of Israel's genocide in Gaza. This new collusion with the IRS shows they want our right to assemble and protest placed under their control as well. It's part of a disturbing trend in which our elected officials seem to be putting foreign nations ahead of the interests of the United States. Money could be a huge driver of this trend.
AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) is one of the largest donors to US politicians, and you can bet the money they spend puts their interests at the top of the list, while the needs of American citizens are ignored and even laughed at. AIPAC's money keeps Congress motivated to protect Israel, even when atrocities against innocent women and children are involved. And that same money ensures Congress will do all it can to shut you up if you dare to criticize the people who essentially own them.
How much money are we talking about? AIPAC’s PAC has already made more than $18 million in campaign contributions in the 2023-2024 cycle. That kind of money buys a lot of influence.
It also buys a lot of censorship and political bullying.

House Speaker Mike Johnson has played a pivotal role in getting more of your money sent to Ukraine and Israel while leaving America's southern border wide open as our nation collapses. The world knows Ukraine is a lost cause and it's just a matter of time until Russia wins the war. It's a battle the United States should have never gotten involved in. In truth, our government's actions were instrumental in causing the war. The DC death cult never admits it but rather continues to churn out propaganda saying Vladimir Putin is a murderous butcher. I doubt Putin is an innocent cub scout, but the criminals running our own government have no moral standing to accuse others of wrongdoing. With Israel it's even worse. In the 200 days since Netanyahu's thugs began their genocide in Gaza, 34,183 Palestinian's have been killed, almost half of them children. The killing continues, and people around the world are understandably upset. Many nations have called for a ceasefire, but demonic US politicians refuse to support it.
After months of senseless carnage, the people of America have finally begun to speak up, especially at colleges and universities. Students are organizing and demanding an end to the murders, something any sane and moral person should support. Instead, our so-called leaders are condemning the protests, perversely saying they are antisemitic demonstrations in support of Hamas. Mike Johnson called the protests "nonsense" and went on to say “As Columbia has allowed these lawless agitators and radicals to take over, the virus of antisemitism has spread across other campuses.” Yes, Johnson thinks you're a lawless agitator and a radical if you oppose the killing of innocent children in Gaza, as well as being "antisemitic". Representative Anthony D’Esposito (R-N.Y.) added his own misinformation by saying “If you are a protester on this campus and you are proud that you’ve been endorsed by Hamas, you are part of the problem.” Not content with saddling Americans with more debt we can't afford by sending $26 billion to Israel, Johnson said he was going to ask Biden to send in the National Guard to break up the protests. (Gov Abbott of Texas didn't wait: he's already deployed the Texas Rangers to squash free speech and freedom of assembly in Austin.) Senator Mark Warner (D-Va.) says students have a right to protest, but there is a limit. Apparently the limit is reached when you criticize Israel. War criminal Netanyahu got involved too, saying "Antisemitic mobs have taken over leading universities". He demanded the protests be shut down, as if he has some legal authority over what happens here.
Fortunately, the protests are continuing, making the sleeping hordes awaken from their naps and finally pay attention to the atrocities we're all financing without consent.

In addition to some of the harshest and oppressive restrictions on speech and expression in the world, Scotland is implementing a law that requires all birds, even a single pet bird, must be registered with the government due to "biosecurity" concerns. It's a ridiculous law based on the largely discredited theory of virology, the same quack science that was used to create the 2020 scamdemic and the subsequent toxic jabs falsely marketed as vaccines. Scottish Kept Bird Register:
"From 1 September 2024 all bird keepers - even those who keep a single bird - are required to register their birds on the new Scottish Kept Bird Register (even if previously registered on the GBPR), and to update their details at least annually."
Scotland has been taken over by tyrants who don't give a damn about the nation's history and traditional culture. It's being turned into a multicultural experiment for the Marxist globalists. And for some reason, the people are allowing it to happen.
