Government Is A System Of Crime.

Josiah Warren quote about crimes committed by governments

"That which we call government is but a system of crime extended over an entire nation. Governments commit more crimes upon persons and property and contribute more to their insecurity than all [the] criminals put together." -- Josiah Warren

The Radical Left Is A Cult Of Conformity.

"Leftists are made up of people who don't stand out through merit or error; they just settle for being like everyone else (their peer group). They think what everyone repeats, and far from being bothered by it, feel comforted by not questioning."

Despite their efforts to look different, deep down the radical left craves conformity and practices group-think. Look past the dyed hair, piercings, and tattoos and you'll see insecure, frightened, and damaged souls seeking acceptance and safety as members of a herd.

They are to be pitied until they find the inner strength to function as individuals.

“I think, therefore I am an individual... not a drone in a collective. I think, therefore I am... libertarian”

Trump Reveals How He Really Feels About Guns.

Donald Trump quote where he says you can't have guns

“You can’t have guns. You can’t walk in with guns."

(Referring to bringing a legal handgun to a legal protest.)

"I don’t like any shooting. I don’t like it. But I don’t like it when somebody goes into a protest and he’s got a very powerful, fully loaded gun with two magazines loaded up with bullets also. That doesn’t play good either."

(Referring to the death of Alex Pretti, a protester who was killed by ICE agents in Minneapolis.)

“We have to take the guns away from these people that have them and they are bad people that shouldn’t have them. Take the guns first, go through due process second."

(Referring to so-called "red flag" laws that allow law enforcement to confiscate guns from anyone considered to be a threat even when they have no criminal record and no history of mental illness.)

"I’m going to write the bump stock; essentially, write it out. So you won’t have to worry about bump stock. Shortly, that will be gone."

(Referring to Trump's executive order banning bump stocks on rifles. His order was eventually overturned by the Supreme Court.)

As social unrest grows in the United States, sparked by both ICE immigration enforcement and protests by Communist groups wanting a revolution, can we trust Donald Trump to defend our right to protect ourselves?

His own words aren't very reassuring.

Criminals Make All The Rules.

cartoon about justice

"You'll never find justice in a world where criminals make all the rules."

More thoughts on this:

“Like most forms of corruption, it began with men in suits.” -- Mick Herron

"Money and corruption are ruining the land, crooked politicians betray the working man, pocketing the profits and treating us like sheep, and we're tired of hearing promises that we know they'll never keep." -- Ray Davies

"The longer I live, the more I feel that the individual is not so much to blame - not even the worst individuals, not even the 'best' citizens - as the system of corruption which has grown up about us, and which rewards an honest man with a mere living and a crook with all the magnificence of our magnificent modern life." -- Lincoln Steffens

“It could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly native American criminal class except Congress.” -- Mark Twain

“The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws.” -- Tacitus, The Annals of Imperial Rome

“Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land, they own and control the corporations they've long since bought and paid for, the senate, the congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pocket, and they own all the big media companies so they control just about all of the news and the information you get to hear. They got you by the balls." -- George Carlin

“Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.” -- Frederick Douglas

Tyranny Unleashed: Quotes On The Abuse Of Power.

cartoon about the abuse of power

"The power you give away will eventually be used against you." -- Timo Malum

“The demise of the human race rests mainly on the shoulders of stupidity, and the abuse of power in the hands of those we have elected.” -- A.R. Merrydew

"It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." -- Thomas Sowell

"A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have." -- Gerald R. Ford

"The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuse." -- James Madison

"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." -- Lord Acton

"Anyone entrusted with power will abuse it if not also animated with the love of truth and virtue, no matter whether he be a prince, or one of the people." -- Jean De La Fontaine

"Great men are urged on to the abuse of power (when they need urging, which is not often), by their flatterers and dependents." -- Charles Dickens

“There are people, like tigers, who have a thirst for licking blood. A man who has once experienced this power, this unlimited lordship over the body, blood, and spirit of a man just like himself, created in the same way his brother by the law of Christ; a man who has experienced this power and the full possibility of inflicting the ultimate humiliation upon another being bearing the image of God, somehow involuntarily loses control of his sensations. Tyranny is a habit; it is endowed with development, and develops finally into an illness.” -- Fyodor Dostoevsky
